Founder
Tawny Chritton Keene
Tawny Keene is a strategist, global executive, and integrative leader with 18 years of experience advancing initiatives that fuse business discipline with human and planetary wellbeing.As a trusted advisor to Boards and C-suites, she helps organizations navigate risk, strengthen resilience, and unlock long-term value. Before founding Lumitera, she served as Vice President and Global Head of Corporate Sustainability at a Fortune 500 firm, where she led international teams across 40+ countries to deliver strategies that enhanced organizational resilience and performance.Her work spans leading global strategy and change efforts, launching an AI tool to embed environmental and social priorities into project lifecycles, developing industry-first measurement and reporting frameworks, founding a global human rights coalition in construction, and co-creating a mobile app with Silicon Valley innovators to elevate worker voice, health, and safety. She brings both vision and execution to some of the world’s most pressing business and societal challenges.Tawny also partners with philanthropic and financial institutions to help channel capital toward solutions that support people, planet, and shared prosperity. She holds a B.A. in English from Princeton and an MBA from Johns Hopkins, and serves on the board of a climate-focused private foundation.
